The thing that bothers me most about this case (aside from the brutal murder) is the tag sale. It seems like Liz was put in a position for someone unknown to be able to approach without it seeming suspicious to her. Had there not been a tag sale and the killer knocked on the door I can't see Liz opening it for him. Or if the person tried to approach her after she went to Starbucks she'd be more way more suspicious of him. It's just way too coincidental that during the first 15 mins of a tag sale (that they didn't even really advertise) someone shows up to kill her when shes most vulnerable. A stranger approaching during her tag sale would have been normal behavior. Everything just points to her being set up. And usually when people are set up... it's by someone who's close.
  • I remember the day she was brutally murdered, like it was yesterday. My mom called to tell me, before I'd hear of my cousins murder through social media or the news. My first thoughts were "How could this happen?!" She was an amazing person, always giving to others, and paying it forward. If she saw an officer at Starbucks, she'd buy their coffee. My second thought and response was "where's Sergio, he has to know something, the timing of everything was too fishy." I've thought he had something to do with it from day 1, but then family opinions and his actions swayed me to believe otherwise, but a small part still felt like he's somehow involved. After watching this, I'm back to fully believing that he knows far more than he's telling, and that he's definitely involved... Keep up the great work Arrin, I think you have a shot at solving her case!
  • This is an incredible breakdown. First time I’ve heard of your channel but I will be a frequent visitor. The #1 thing that sticks out to me is that the killer is on her street at 2am, nearly 5 hours before the actual murder takes place. Safe to assume the killer remained the area for the duration of that time -until fleeing. Liz actually leaves her home at 6am to get coffee. The killer could’ve murdered her at that time - when it may have been darker and more ppl asleep - but didn’t. Her husband was still home at that time. Very, very shortly after her husband leaves for work, that’s when the killer decides to make his move. This sequence is odd to me.

I want this case solved so badly, it’s just so horribly sad.
  • It’s completely beyond me why you don’t have a million subscribers. Your videos are better than most others, and much clearer and interesting than any other channel. Please don’t stop making these videos
  • Sergio will never be eliminated from the suspect list, as long as this case remains open. Having the garage sell help contribute to her death by providing the killer with opportunity. The killers used that opportunity to successfully execute a plan of murder. The Nissan in the neighborhood illustrates that the killer was doing timed test runs ahead of the 6:55 AM murder. The killers had knowledge of the details concerning the garage sell, however, they never saw the Barraza couple setting up. The Nissan did not pass the house while the individuals were setting up for the garage sell. Thus they had insider knowledge that she would be outside at a specific time. Few people start set up at 6:30 AM! The killers must have also known Sergio was going to leave at specific time; hence, parking at the Goddard school and waiting for his vehicle to pass.

The killer wore the robe as a disguise, but also to give the impression that they were a neighbour curious about the garage sale. It was early in the morning, so the appearance of someone in a robe would not be that startling or strange, adding further credence to the theory that the killer was well aware that she was having a garage sale that day and that it was commencing very early in the morning.

The fact that there isn’t updates in this case breaks my heart 😔

Holy cow, now this is well-done true crime content creation. Very well researched, analyzed and delivered in a way that is respectful to her and her family! You’re very good at this. I pray they find whoever did this to her.
  • @shareyourtreats
This case always gets to me. Especially the killers walk. It almost gives me the goosebumps, it is terrifying as hell.

Arrin, I have been following Liz’s case closely since it happened but I learned so much new information from your analysis. Amazing work yet again! Some people hold grudge a few years. Her family say she had no enemy but they might have to go back a few years.

I found your channel by reading some comments on another channel named “10 to life with Annie elise”. I am so glad I came here to check it out because you are incredibly detailed. More people need to know about you because your too good. It’s now time for an Arrin Stoner binge!

something that sticks out to me is that whoever it was knew an acceptable secondhand price for the stormtrooper helmet, this is something i wouldnt have any clue about which tells me it really may be someone in her cosplay groups.
  • I've been following this case for a while. So happy you made an analysis video on it!

Dude... amazing job on this video. As someone who works on cars, One thing i wanted to point out, that truck sounds like it has a worn out/hole in its exhaust. These types of trucks are usually quieter than that. As far as the transmission, im pretty sure its an automatic. A manual trans would have a bouncy, less smooth tone to it as it takes off in first gear.
  • @tj5180
I was waiting for a video on this case. Thank you for spreading awareness on this case.
  • @glamdolly30
Liz was a very special person and much loved by her family and friends. She had said she would donate her organs, and once doctors found they could not save her, she was taken to an operating theatre for organ harvesting. That little lady saved the lives of four people, and also gave someone the gift of sight. God bless you Liz - I pray your killers will get judgement day in this world, before they inevitably spend all eternity burning in Hell. You, meanwhile, reside with the angels.

This is one of the most if not the most detailed video I’ve seen about this case. No trying on makeup or trying to be funny like some other channels. Great job 👏🏾.
