About radios. We had a brand new giant Telefunken console with a Phillips reel to reel and a turn table and a five band reciever. He bought it at the PX in Turkey. We lived on a high hill. We had plenty of fun with it and it went everywhere with us. Then came the transistors and 8 Tracs and cassettes. :) We used the cassette with dad while he was in nam, and once in awhile he could radio to home via ma bell.

All that! Is now in the palm of my hand! So we are capable of so much more. We should love harder and give credit to the Ultimate Designer... of the dynamic, living existance capable of existing beyond the boxes we stare into and hold in the palm of our hands. Good angels are rooting for us. Peace.

That was great to see running ! The speed of the printer wasn't shabby at all, quicker than the mainframe one at my first job in 1986. Same kind of perforated paper. Always good to see spinning reels in action too :)
