How To Find Arrowheads; Four Important Things To Keep In Mind

Published 2022-05-24
Through the years I've had people ask me how I find arrowheads. How do you know where to look. And how do you know you're in the right place. I can think of four important things to keep in mind when hunting arrowheads and that's what this video is about.
Special thanks to Tom Davidson and his family for allowing me to hunt arrowheads on their farm and for allowing me to film there.

  • Thanks for this interesting video, Ray. I won't be hunting for arrowheads any time soon but if I'm ever in the States I'd like to have a look. 🇦🇺
  • Thank you Ray, great video. I appreciate the info. Nice finds! It's good to see that you got out and were able to get out again and find some really cool stuff so you could make this video for us.

I've been here in SC for a very long time, and I've never run across one... guess I need to look harder, lol?

Am I the first one to point out that the way you speak gives a vibe of Henry David Thoreau's writing. In his book/journal 'Walden" he even finds arrowheads when he's working his garden. Give it a read if you haven't already! :)
