Bo Nix is a playmaker. He will show and prove. The Giants loses out.
  • Keyshawn understands. Some people are running wild with this take. Sean Payton never said they were at all the same player. Just thinks they both fit the offense Sean likes to run. And he missed out of getting Pat Mahomes last time by getting jumped by KC in the draft. And Sean didn’t have to give up anything extra to get him. And skip how do you know he won’t be great before he even hits the field? This is how stigma narratives get out on players who don’t deserve it. Let the kid play. And give him more than one year to assess him. Bo Nix is already getting the Brock Purdy treatment. So now we will see what they all said about purdy come to be false. If they drafted Purdy in the first round would they still hold so much stigma against him? We’ll just look at what they are already doing to Nix.
  • This is stupid!! He is not comparing Bo Nix to Patrick now. He is comparing them both when they were coming out college. Sean Payton and Andy Reid were the only two that had eyes on Pat.

All those throws at or behind the line of scrimmage, Sean Payton threw those out when evaluating Bo nix and he was still more accurate than any qb in this draft…. Including Caleb Williams

The similarities in Nix and Mahomes Coach Payton sees is what he saw when he (Mahomes) was going into the draft! So tired of how this is taken out of context. Just shows how the sports media is just a bad as making a story as the mainstream media!!

This is a prime example when you have a ex-professional athlete against a waterboy when he was in high school

Bo’s hands are almost an inch bigger than patty melts 😮

What Sean was saying was that he wanted to draft Mahomes in that draft class and thought he could get him later in the draft and he got snagged out from under him. He didn’t want to make that same mistake with Bo. He wasn’t saying that Bo’s NFL comp is Mahomes or that Bo will ever be as good as Mahomes. He was talking more about draft strategy than he was about the players identities. Also Bo was SEC freshman of the year and beat Alabama in the iron bowl. Hard to say he was overmatched his (true) freshman year. I’m really excited about this pick for the Broncos. I think this is the best match and situation of any of the top 6 QBs. Also this narrative about Bo not having a good arm is a joke. Go watch his pro day or any film on him. He can throw it 60+ yards with ease and hit his man in stride. They focused on deep balls during his pro day just to show that and he didn’t miss a single one. Everyone was clapping and going crazy cuz of how perfect it was

Look he throws the ball as well as prescotte but can he take the pressure ! Thats the real question! If he has mahomes altitude towards pressure you got yourself a really good quarterback !

Its funnt hearing someone say the felt like Maholmes was gonna be great because I remember everyone mocking Reid for drafting him when Alex Smith was getting the Chiefs to the playoffs every year. Revisionist history is common amongst analysts.

The Jets are still putting all their marbles in a old man. Who will get injured again.

I have done pretty extensive research on Bo Nix, far more than most of these media guys like Skip Bayless. I dug into literally every scrap of information I could find, which included detailed information about each of the college offenses he played in & the coaches he had in his 5 years in college. I am not as high on him as most Bronco fans are & would not have taken him in the first round, but having said that, I definitely trust Sean Payton's view of quarterbacks. If he's on board with Nix, that is really all that matters. This idea that the media is constantly spinning about what a terrible move it was to draft him12th overall is pretty much a non-factor in this. All we need to do is run down the list of players drafted #12 overall in the NFL draft each of the last umpteen years to see how many busts there were. Simply picking BPA is no guarantee that ANY of these guys will be successful NFL players. First round QBs drafted since 1990 have a 50% bust rate. That doesn't mean you don't draft QBs in the first round.
  • @KingKenzo215
Bo Nix will be better than Drake Maye mark my words
  • @jamieburney2581
I think nix and my Broncos will be better than anyone thinks
  • @full_art_frenzy
Sean didn't have to talk himself into this pick, I think they had every intention of going after Nix. The fact that a lot of outside people we're saying he was interested in McCarthy and then the Pennix to Falcons pick happened and the Broncos didn't move from 12 solidifies it a bit.
  • @CarlGoat-ju9kn
Why does every qb have to have similarities to Patrick Mahomes😂 pick someone else Patrick is 1 of 1 damn
  • Mahomes compares are getting out of control don't you think 😢
