Imagine a time when you could go to a concert where the band members wrote their own lyrics and played their own instruments to the music they created…where the music was powerful, energizing and upbeat… and where the songs were not full of vulgar words… I lived in that time… it was awesome…. Maybe someday again..

First time I heard this song was the Summer of 1981. I was in Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC and we had a pass on a Saturday night...... the platoon Sergeants bought a crap ton of beer for us after we had been killin' it for 8 weeks. I was 17 yrs old and was able to drink on base. It was my first time getting hammered...... so much time has passed and so much has happened in 43 years....Wow ! Don't waste your life people..... make it count for something !!
