How to be Confident in Interviews - please tell me - what's your favourite tip?
  • Tomorrow is my interview date. Wish me luck guys. Edit: I got the job guys, which led me to win a fully funded scholarship to study Master of Public Policy at the Australian National University next year. Thank you all for the support 😊

I lack confidence in speaking. I have all the right answers in my mind, but I can't get them out of my mouth with a good flow. I don't know how to fix this.

00:50 - Remember your value. 01:48 - Use the power of persuasion. 03:11 - Frame every answer appropriately. 05:03 - Have extra stories in your back pocket. 06:00 - Visualize and energize.
  • Trying to start making big scary changes to get myself in a better place. Had an anxiety attack and cancelled an interview last week, have another next and so hoping this helps! Good luck to anyone with any upcoming interviews, sending good vibes and you know you’ve got this!

Hi Linda, just want to say "Thank you". I had an interview with a Corporation for the first time ever and didn't know what to expect and prepare. Watching your videos, writing down all the tips and templates, I nailed it! Landed a job that I like right after the first interview! You're AWESOME!
  • My favourite tip was "frame your answers appropriately" because I usually don't go into the details of a scenario. I need to describe the situation more clearly. I also don't have enough stories in mind to answer all of the behavioural questions.

The tip about seeing yourself doing well is a really good one, I'm so bad at interviews and get so nervous so I can only picture myself sitting there struggling and feeling panicked and on the spot :(
  • I remember having a panic attack once before interview so I backed out. I really need this. Hope everything goes well the day after tomorrow because I'm going to another interview. Good luck to me!

This video is amazing and you are amazing Linda. I wasn’t happy with rejections I was getting so I decided to watch videos so I could learn how to be more confident in interviews. In the space of three weeks, I was offered three jobs and I accepted one job with a membership body so thank you for sharing this message. I was unemployed for 3 months and it was getting me down. Thank you so much for your advice ❤️

Hey Linda! Last week I landed a job and I believe it was because of your videos so I just want to say thank you :)
  • @ngocvo4321
I would like to say thank you for what you are doing. Three weeks ago, I posted my CV on some recruiting websites and sent to some companies but no one called. I was really frustrated and thought I had to get back with my dead-end job then I accidentally found your channel and after watching all of your videos, I rewrote my CV, learn some tips...guess what...I have two job offers with a doubled salary . I'm really excited to start my new job next week. Thank you very much Linda!! You changed my life.

Hi Linda. I totally bought into the visualize/energize technique. Having a lengthy sports background I can personally attest to this very powerful technique. Great job!
  • @Reconseal4050
The thing is that confidence will be there during your interview. You might be brushing threw questions after questions and still remain perfect but then comes a very difficult behavioral questions that shakes up your confidence. One thing I learned is that they are always trying to break you and say something negative.
  • Linda I really wanted to say THANK YOU! Your amazing tips and videos helped me a lot in getting my new job just a few days ago. I was unemployed for several months and it was very frustrating. Thank you for the time and effort you put in all videos, they are extremely helpful. I will be sharing your Youtube channel and videos to all people who needs a new job or are unemployed. Sending you many blessings!
  • @a1parra
Linda, Three of these tips helped me interview well. The organization called me back for a second interview. The second interview consisted of 3 interviews in 3 separate interview rooms. Each room consisting of two interviewers. The consultant approach is my personal favorite. THANK YOU! I landed the job!
  • We are having mock interviews tomorrow at school and I'm desperately trying to do good on it because I really want a good grade. My outfit looks amazing and professional that's the first step now onto these parts 😁 these are helping a lot
  • It's hard to 'predict' the questions and I think that's unreasonable to try to keep stories in mind for the questions that you THINK they will ask. They will always ask different questions and you will look unprepared anyway since the stories that you 'prepared for the prediction' will most likely not be what they are asking! I can never think of any stories at the BEST of times! :(
