Sounds like the victim was sad it passed away and then angry because someone disturbed it's sleep by moving the object. Then it wanted it's presence to be known by your friends. After that, the spirit wanted to be returned to it's original place, untouched. And it now wants to take it's anger out on your friends or anyone else who disturbs it's slumber.

That gurney ain't just haunted; it's cursed. My advice: burn it. Whatever's attached to it is not friendly or neutral and is very much malicious. Either find someone who knows how to dispose of this kind of thing or do a LOT of research on how to do so and stay safe and ritually burn the thing. Do not pass go, do not collect $200 and CERTAINLY do not let any local ghost hunters interact with it. Kill it with fire, bye-bye, adios cursed gurney and whatever nasty spirit hanging out in there.

Just the fact that the shadow figure was not only making sounds and attempting to interact with them, but it also leaned closer and tried to reach out to her.... Yeah, it's a no from me!

I've been waiting so long for a new scary story!! Specifically a TRUE scary story!! I wonder what it is/was. My first thought was an unhappy, sad *human spirit, nothing dangerous just spooky as all Hell. Then you said it started growling and I immediately switched to, "Oh, hell nah!" I'm wondering what the heck it is. I don't really think it was that bad, but I don't fuck with growling things and it didn't seem as not-dangerous after the growling part! I imagined the two of them jumping and flying out of the car like it was gonna explode, lol! I'm happy they were able to beat the clock!

Never getting a gurney, but will get a hearse.
