United States Navy (USN). As of 11 October 2023, USS Bataan (LHD-5) with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) along with the USS Carter Hall (LSD-50) was ordered to cease training off the coast of Kuwait and proceed to the Mediterranean Sea.
