I have been there and it blew my mind! It changed my understanding of ancient architecture. I could tell there were good acoustics and I said to my friends I was traveling with that if monks were in the caves chanting it would be heard miles away! I was simply in complete amazement at the incredible beauty - a perfectly carved elephant from the top down - it was one of the most special spiritual places I have ever been! The art work carved into the rock architecture is a divine labor of conscious love that can produce conscious love in those who go there.

Most underrated rock-structure worldwide

It is insulting to me to listen to these self serving academics decry these fantastic ancient sites. To imply they know how they were built and by whom. The truth is they don’t know crap 💩 anymore then anyone else. We can’t even replicate this today. It defies explanation and gives credence to a lost chapter in the human story.

I find this temple to be one of the most absurdly incredible structures on this entire world. Absolutely astonishing
-
An Islamic invader (the most cruel and barbaric), Aurangazeb tried to destroy this temple. Ironically the city where this temple is , was named after him. He ordered 10,000 men to destroy this temple but failed.

I'm Native Khmer (a race mainly in Cambodia nowadays) in Mekong delta, Vietnam, I always respect the magnificent ancient Indian culture and great mysterious heritage. With their religious and culture that form a distinct Khmer culture and art nowadays, which heavily influenced and absorbed by the ethnic Siem Thai nowadays.

No way in hell people chisled these with bronze tools! I went to Petra last year and the same technique had been used there, I investigated it and I'm certain some form of an advanced technology was used. It would've taken 5,000 people 10,000 years to do it, when you do the maths. I made a video explaining the impossibility of it all.

This is so fascinating to me, there's so many examples of this type of architecture brilliance and perfection all around the world that spans at least 12 millenia.. if only we could live in a time where the truth wasn't hidden and truth was celebrated and studied for the marvel it truly is.. Truth is stranger than fiction, yet we runaway from one and strive for the other...

I believe this sacred and mystical temple was built using ancient vedic beeja mantras ❤

Finally universe inside you made a video on this. Been waiting my entire life lol. This place always fascinates me whenever i visit it.

Michelangelo: "Look at this guy I carved out of a 20 foot tall piece of marble!" Ancient Hindus: "Yeah, that's a really cute little craft project you got there."

India is fascinating, mystic, full of mysteries, incredible land.i must visit this kailasha temple now.
-
There is zero possibility any civilization we know about built this place. I seriously doubt we could build this today. Seriously. Who and why and when and how???? This place is a giant enigma.
-
I've heard about this place before, but this is the best video about it that I've seen. Thanks!
-
One of my absolute favorite constructions!
-
Beautiful... I would love to see it in person one day.
-
Simply MAGESTIC!!! Made by highly advanced people of Ancient times!!! Looking at it feels like this was carved with massive laser etching machine precisely cutting the details out of the mountain.
-
People can make some crazy stuff when they are not fighting each other for thousands of years.

Anybody who has seen this can never look at what is supposedly carved from rock using chisels the same. Whoever did this loved working in stone. There is no end to the intricacy of the structures and the depth of artistry in the people and animals depicted. This could perhaps be envisioned and displayed using a powerful 3D graphics computer. Then create a hologram and project it down into the rock where all of the overage is vaporized, leaving what you see now. I'm not saying this is how it was done, but it did take this level of technology to create this.
