I loved this video showing how quite a few things are done in the factory. I was lucky enough to walk the entire plant for the f150 in Norfolk va in 1995. I saw the beginning of railcars bringing huge rolls of steel to the truck driving out of the building. It’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen and I’m 59. It ran 24 hours every single day and 1 truck came off roughly every minute. It’s been closed for several years now. Just a humongous place empty

Great vid! And disc brakes! Those US cars are so modern nowadays!
  • “Uper Duty” trucks are over sized and have a Total height of 60 inches while the nose is 80 inches. Good to know!

Do they still install the exploding fuel pump that ruins your intake system at this factory?
  • @Makifo
First! Too bad the trucks cost $100k+

The new Super Duty trucks are beautiful inside and out. They look better than the Chevy and Ram.

“Engines are designed with a focus on DURABILITY and REALIBILITY” 😂 If they say so but they certainly were not designed to be easy to work on

Just an observation why the assembly workers are no longer in uniforms? I've been to the other auto plants in other countries where uniforms are used and make the employees more professional looking. Does someone have an explanation. Is it down cuts, unions, or employees wanting to express themselves.
  • It’s always nice when Chinese companies make the videos for “American” trucks. All in the name of “progress” right??
  • Isn't it nice to watch them put together a vehicle that will definitely be recalled or have to be fixed over and over again. This is why new vehicles cost soo much. Car company fix cars then add the price to next year's model. The more mistakes they make the bigger increases there are.
