  • When I worked at Chuck E. Cheese, I remember the training video had a entire section about sexual harassment at a workplace, and chuck was dancing in the background while describing in a cheery voice what you should do if a co worker gropes you

As a Texan, thank you for calling White Settlement "Crackerville"

Fun Fact: Chuck E Cheese's is actually available on several food-ordering apps, but for "marketing reasons" they go by Pasqually's Pizza instead (named after the fucking chef character)

Apparently when I was little, I was absolutely terrified of the costumed Chuck E. Cheese character. One time I hid under the table to avoid him, inconsolable as I told my parents I was scared of his feet. Another time he came out and I went to hide up in the jungle gym tube maze and refused to come down, so my dad had to ask the costume performer to go back into the closet and asked a kid to retrieve me since he couldn’t fit. I have zero recollection of this since I was 4, but my dad reminds me of it everytime anything about CEC comes up.
  • No matter how many Fnaf games and reinterpretations come out, none can quite match the bizarre aura of the actual original Chuck E. Cheese restaurants. There’s just something about them that no one seems to be able to recreate.

As an ex-Chuck E Cheese employee, we were never made to clean the suit. Also it was just a bike helmet with the head built on.

Also the suit duty was just a sneaky way to sneak 15 min breaks into our shift. "Yes manager. It does take me 8 minutes to put on the suit, and definitely not 20 seconds."
  • As a person who has Italian heritage I can confirm that disappointments are called “Unacceptable Crust”
  • @FrickinRumbi
12:28 I am absolutely in love with the fact that when Pasqually shows up in the kitchen all the workers are just trying to ignore him and go about their shift

My mother has worked for CEC Corporate for years, making her the breadwinner of the family. To put it simply, the Mouse runs the House.

EDIT: Just found out that the Arlington CEC my mother works at is responsible for the training video! The footage they shot is from my old Chuck E Cheese I went to as a kid, and is still there.

God the first few seconds were magical. the "learn how to top", the ominous music, the fucking "this video is two years late" joke. what a wonderful time capsule and i haven't even gotten an eigth through. love you Mr salty
  • @JohnaldV
I genuinely don’t know if Pastey saying “Chunky Cheese” is ironic or not.
  • Pasquale still exists as the mascot for Pasquale’s Pizza and Wings, a delivery-only “ghost restaurant” run out of Chuck E Cheese’s.

Broke: Releasing a video about Chuck E. Cheese when it goes bankrupt
Woke: Releasing a video about Chuck E. Cheese during the FNAF nostalgia boom
  • @dadude726
Fun fact: at one point, the voice actor for Mr Munch(the purple one) was played by Christopher Sabat, who is the voice actor for all might, piccolo, vegeta, etc.
  • @OutcastRose
Wait, Pasqually is an actual Chuck E Cheese character? I've picked up Doordash orders from their ghost kitchen "Pasqually's Pizza and Wings" for some rich people who I doubt have any idea that their food is from Chuck E Cheese. The Chuck E Cheese lore is much more expansive than I thought
  • Fun fact, there are still locations with the animatronic band setup despite the company getting rid of a bunch of them since 2017. There’s even a location in Illinois that still has a stage that’s supposed to look a house (which has been phased out else where since I believe the late ‘90s-2000s)
  • @normhal
I know people thought they were creepy, but I REALLY want the Chuck E. Cheese animatronics back.
  • @Rexdrinkredbull
Fun fact when I worked at CEC, I found out they modernized the personalities of every character, and they made Helen Henny a gamer. Like, during the birthday pre-show, she's playing some random game and talking about how she has the high scores on all the games.
  • @reelsonder
Imagine the timeline of this video being completed 2 years earlier and Salty saves Chuck E. Cheese.
