Investigations are underway after pro-Palestinian encampments and demonstrations took place at USC and UCLA in late April and early May.

Earlier in the week, police removed a massive pro-Palestinian encampent at UCLA and hundreds of people were arrested in the aftermath. Many are criticizing the universities for not stepping in earlier to take action before things escalated.

KTLA's John Fenoglio reports on May 3, 2024.

It's not free speech when you destroy property and harass people with whom you don't agree with.

Well parents, this is where your hard earned money went. Now come pick up your kid.

They attacked the police. Infact the police had to retreat and get back up. This was not peaceful.

She never mentions the Vandalism. That’s not free speech.

Where do you find these people to interview? Have they been living under a rock?

Destruction and disruption is not peaceful demonstration.
  • Shame on these students for continuing to victimize native Americans and continuing to occupy their lands. They should be expelled! The hypocrisy is monumental.😢

"Criticized over response to Campus protests" Damn right! They didnt arrest nearly enough of them, and allowed them to stay far too long.
  • @TheDuke013
They asked them to leave and they got the results.

expel and jail, the graffiti alone is bad enough but the created a complete public danger , blocking people spitting shouting ect this is not protest its bullying

There was no police brutality, I watched the whole thing from start to finish. The police acted with force against those that refused to leave private property and it was the students that were violent against the police. Not one student had an injury, some feigned injury and others exaggerated the force used against them because they refused to leave. As if them disrupting their studies, the studies of all the students in the University, and destroying university property will make the Israeli army change their tactics. This war is bigger then them. They should be sent to Israel to confront those they disagree with and give their solutions to an age old war the greatest minds in history have not been able to solve. 😂

"Last week, 93 Pro-Palestinian demonstrators were arrested at USC, '53' were students".
  • @Skrapeg0at
It's not a peaceful protest if it means you are discriminating against a group of people.
  • @fallinegg
stop calling them pro palastinian protests...they are pro hamas and im sick and tired of mainstream side stepping that fact because its inconvenient.
  • @eddiet204
There’s no room for pro Hamas protesters- period. If you support these folks, you’re supporting Hamas.
