All they're doing is playing it safe! No need to rush him back. Everything is just fine!
  • @Iolo3
Is this simply because he has not pitched for a while and body just not used to it yet, or simply OLD AGE thing? (ie, time to consider retirement)
  • @yadthink
I'm confident they're doing the right thing. What they're saying isn't important; to me, at least. Go Dodgers!

IF that is the case then the Dodgers needs to get Garrett Crochet!! plus Luis Robert Jr. and Tanner Scott and Randy Arozarena if need be‼️💯😤💙

soreness is normal, how you recover from the soreness is entirely different...pain and discomfort is a red flag and something to worry about.

They gotta just shut this guy down. Fill his roster spot. He is not the Kershaw that we all remember and hope he will be. The last couple post seasons have PROVEN that. He’d sincerely be one of the last guys on the pitching staff I’d want to see take the mound come October. This organization and the goals of are much bigger than a feel good story for one guy

Soreness is okay. It's wise to be prudent but he's going to just have to push through it. I went through knee surgery which resulted in down time and extreme pain and soreness in physical therapy. But as I broke down the scar tissue the pain went away. You can't just do nothing and expect to recover. You go through painful physical therapy to get back to normal .

The dodgers need to not expect anything from Kersh, Buehler, May, Gonsolon, or Yamamoto this year. If we get something great. We need a Crochette, and two bats. Tanner Scott would be nice

He should become a Knuckle Ball pitcher, which will extend his career. But in truth, it may be time to hang up his cleats. Become a pitching coach. He can retire with honor. Absolutely love him.
  • Make Kershaw pitching coach assistant and call it a day. Buehler needs more than a day off.
  • Hs trying to return too early because of the incentives and escalators in his contract for next year. They should've been smart enough not to sign him to a contract where he has to push his return date. Now he's liable to reinjure himself because somebody wasn't thinking too clearly when they drew up the terms.

The comments. Man. With ZERO information beyond "soreness."
  • Paying him all that money to not do nothing except chew bubble gum n dugout...with the money there giving him to just show ...that's bullcrap....
  • @evil6.7_
It’s time to cut bait. I hate it for him and Walker but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out Kershaw is notorious for being injured and a playoff choker and Buehler is a shell of himself. We can move on and still honor them in the right way
  • Sorry, but he should no longer be on the team. Roberts is loyal to a fault and if he is somewhat healthy he will once again being forced into a post season game where he will once again fail big time. Move the hell on from him!!!!!!
