You did great, your skills are top notch. A gun was recovered. It's so beautiful, you should try shooting bullets to see how it goes. Hopefully you will recover many old guns to restore and prepare for World War 3. I also do repair work but repair machines. I'm also looking. Maybe I can find some old cannons to restore and sell for money🤪🤪🤪🤪

On crusty rifles, why simply not starting with beadblasting with soft media? Glass bead. Nut shell. Soda. Aluminum oxyde. That will solve a lot of time and remove all the rust.

A parte il fatto che un simile oggetto, così corroso dalla ruggine, non avrà più un bell'aspetto, ma perché cercare di rimettere in circolazione le armi? Ci sono tanti altri oggetti da restaurare perché restino nella memoria storica. Le armi le metterei all'ultimo posto, anzi, non le metterei neppure in elenco. Lascerei che almeno la ruggine se le porti via. Non voglio denigrare il tuo lavoro, ma con la tua pazienza potresti dedicarti al restauro di altre cose.
