Stock analysis is more than reading quarterly reports. Learnt this from reading Peter Lynch's book. I believe there are people who do this for a living, and I just delegate the task to these professionals. That's how to stay afloat in the market.

I'm thinking to put some cash in stocks, I was at Salt Shack and i overheard some friends saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
  • @EvelynManley
Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

Buffett has been my inspiration since i started investing, I think the stock market will do well in 2024, so I'm thinking of putting $220,000 into stocks for my retirement. Any advice on doing this safely? Also, any important tips for the current financial situation?

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.
  • The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400,000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.

I'm under pressure to grow my reserve that currently holds about $800k. I'm down by 20% already following the crash and I fear I could lose more.

Charlie is greatly missed. He made meetings fun.

For 30 years, I've managed my portfolio solo, holding 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) that I bought for around $17,000 in the mid-90s. Now, I'm selling some to add new-gen stocks. Considering the current stock market instability, I wonder if investing in gold might be wiser.

I'm favoured, Getting my own Truck has alwavs been my Dream for my business. I just acquired 2 recently, earning $32K weekly has been really helpful. I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support Charity Organizations. I really appreciate your videos

May I ask which investments are good? I've been looking at a few different ones but want others' opinions as well.

Living Legend. We are fortunate to be here to witness it.

"The government doesn't own the assets but they own the earnings (through taxation)" - He's right and at 21% currently, 52% in the past as he said around 23:50 or so. He might be talking slower nowadays but his mind is still very sharp, play at 1.75x speed and you'll see. Will the top 800 corporations volunteer to do the good he suggests and was applauded for? I doubt it. Great man!

I don't know if you will read this Warren, we all appreciate you very much. We miss Charlie, when you mentioned him and he wasn't there, I felt like I was missing a friend. You will always be legends and an inspiration to many young people. Best regards 🫂
  • Thank you CNBC for transmitting and making this meeting available!

Thank you Warren for giving me the confidence to invest in index funds. I will be eternally grateful for you giving normal people like me a shot of creating wealth.

Historically speaking Bitcoin doesn’t do much immediately after the halving - but it does do impressive spikes and tops out around 18 or so months afterwards. No one can time the market, but I'd say it's worth considering entering a position at current prices and if further dips occur, just add to your position. Over the long run, there is a higher probability to the upside than the downside, .It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.4Bitcoin to a decent 18Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Loretta Graves Hill, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.
