From my understanding you don't all reveal cards played at the same time. Instead first car ahead reveals and moves (step 3) and continue doing all steps to 9. Then second car reveals and moves steps 3-9 and so on. This could give first player less info on what other cars behind gonna do, makes it harder for them if he/she wanna boost, etc. Also gives more info to players behind, like a catch up mechanic.

"Wheeeeeeee!!" - "Does your race car driver say wheee?" - "he does, cause he's French" 🤣🤣🤣

One thing I really appreciated is that they put all of these expansions in with the original game. Not only does it make it cheaper in the long run over buying these seperately, but it allows you to add them in as you want to, especially if you want to start adding them right away. Also LOVE that it comes with FOUR tracks right off the bat - great job, Days Of Wonder! And fantastic video as well - cleared up a ton of questions I had - awesome job!

Sounds like one of the better Days of Wonder releases in a while, good to see them succeed, the industry is better for it when they are doing well. :)

29:50 corner check was not fine because he used adrenaline to gain +1 move that counts towards corner check, so he had a speed of 8...

I may be mistaken but looks like a rule was missed here: there's a cool down icon on the Adrenaline step. Dave repeatedly mentions the optional +1 move but never mentions the optional cool down.

Heat is an excellent game. Well done for showcasing the basic version. There were 3 errors in the teach/play, 2 of which have been mentioned below: 13.01 Adrenaline is a separate +l movement and may not be combined with speed to move over an obstacle 20.00 You can use Adrenaline as an extra optional cooldown 23.22 Only the moving player reveals their cards.
  • I’ve been looking forward to this one. Thanks for featuring it. Some of the rules make more sense now seeing it.
  • This one was a lot of fun to watch and very helpful to get a feel for the rules and the game play. Thanks a lot for the upload!
  • Dave summed up this game a few times...."This is exciting!" Great game, reminds me of Formula D. Great Game Night episode as always!
  • @jerseyj2
Great game! I definitely need to add this one to the collection. Fun play folks!

At 56:39 Lincoln draws up to 8 cards when it’s supposed to be a hand size of 7. His 8th card was a 5 speed, which he used on his following turn… totally putting him way farther than he shouldn’t have been able to go.

Dave was so adorable with his sound effects at the start of this. I had no idea this was Days of Wonder!! It was a fun video! I was so confused early on though. You guys rule!
  • ... just ordered a copy for Christmas and grand kids !! We've been playing Downforce (and expansions) - using modified rules as they are 7 and 4 - and they love it. Thanks for the play through...

Thank you - great Video. This game is so exiting.
  • @dimleaf
Fun! I would love to see you play with the modules, with the new expansion, and maybe with 5-6 people. That would be amazing.

I recently grabbed this, Galaxy Truckers and Jaws of the Lion. Looking forward to trying this one out.
