“Downing Street will be breathing a big sign of relief.”

Nigel Farage’s decision to not stand in the election for Reform will leave a “spring in Sunak’s step”, says Times Radio’s Ed Vaizey and former Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale.

I doubt reform voters will return to the Tories.

He's devoted his life to his cause, had a terrible injury in an air crash, been harassed by yobs, and is generally seen as a polarising figure. He's also had little success in UK Parliamentary elections.

Reform could still cost the tory party's votes.

What a huge commitment to democracy here this man has. Pulled out his candidates five years ago. Now laughed at you as his supporters again by withdrawing himself. Betrayal or what?

Farage has never got anywhere in Westminster elections, so no surprise he's bottled this one.

With our FPTP electoral system Tice is wasting his time as Farage found. The election is normally decided by a few marginal seats.

Well , we were hoping he would come in and upset the apple cart . Now it’s just down to the red and blue again, swapping terms . Blaming each other . We want change !!! Not the same old changes . Thanks Nigel for nothing

Nigel should move from being an armchair back-seat politician and come up with a comprehensive economic and social plan to get team UK back on track. Go to the people and stand for election. In stead, he'll continue to shout from the sideline blaming everyone else while accepting zero responsibility for the mess we all face.

Sunak has wrong footed REFORM they don’t have enough time to mount a campaign.

Farage is going full throttle on the campaign trail
  • Well given that Farrago said that he was going to America to campaign for Trump(!) that should tell you everything you need to know about the party he created and leads, a vote for Reform is a vote for the far right and the UKs own MAGA party, presumably MUKGA!
  • @JimTimber
I'd rather have Nigel as PM as the rest of the A-holes !!
  • Nigel won't have anyone to blame when things go wrong. He has never wanted the responsibility for doing anything. He sits on the side and criticizes everyone who is actually trying to get the job done.

Farage took Britain out of the EU. Now, he will work on taking it into the US as its 51st state.😅
