Marshall restores another vintage watch, this time from an adoptive family member who had it passed down as a family heirloom. These tiny watches were all the rage in the 30s and 40s, and hold up just as well today. Enjoy this look at a (very small) vintage watch being restored!

I don't actively fall asleep to your videos, but I do tend to watch one before bed. Very soothing!
  • @kevinklein959
Hahaha , so I'm not the only one who falls asleep to your soothing voice. Then when I wake up I just rewind it to the last part I remember and watch it again.
  • Every time you turned the watch over dirt was falling out. Can we say it’s overdue for cleaning 🧹 And you’re giving the owner a full view. Thanks for sharing.

I am also one that gets lulled to sleep watching/listening to your videos! I never mentioned it before, but I enjoy seeing how it starts out, and I usually get stirred awake about the time it's just about put back together ;-) Thanks for sharing and always appreciate the workmanship!
  • I must admit seeing a notification that you posted always brings a smile to my face❤

There's worse things in the world than having a voice that's ASMR-friendly. 😉

I don't think I could ever work on watches, I just don't have the patiences, but I'm a fascinated. Marshal does such an amazing and entertaining job.

Your videos have been part of my bedtime “unwind” routine for 3 months now. The days worries melt away when you’re engrossed in such a wonderfully in-depth window into the mechanics, history, and hurtles, of restoring little complex pieces of the past.

"people like to fall asleep to my videos" while me falling asleep to your video xd you've really relaxing voice and also watch restoration is also such a relaxing thing, double trouble :D also, I'm one year into mechanical watches, and i adore mine, sometimes i just listen to them tick inside, feels like a living thing

Glad to see that your movement holder is up to the task this time!
  • @arthurnied5500
I too occasionally fall asleep watching your videos as they are so soothing and relaxing. If I do miss any portion of the content I do rewind to watch it.

That D Dornblüth & Sohne watch is magnificent! Excellent choice, Marshall.
  • @deland1360
I fall asleep to them also. It’s your voice and for some reason fixing videos help me relax.
  • Sir, you have out done yourself. Amazing service of a very very small movement. You did it all and without a blemish. Truly impressive 🫡 I've seen your videos and I'm amazed by how quickly you have evolved. You Sir are a true natural. IMHO Much Respect 🤝
  • @Michel-Uphoff
I don't have a watch, I don't need one, and I don't want one. And lo and behold, here I am again, in the thick of the night, enjoying a Marshall video 😍.
  • @ChadWilson
I have watched a lot of watch repair videos and I continue to be amazed at just how small of parts we have been able to manufacture, and for so long.
  • I'm gonna be honest, I'm one of those people who fall asleep to your videos. I put it on to listen to at bedtime and I'm out in about 5 minutes. I've gone back to rewatch them while awake and I've seen almost every video you have
  • @kenstorms2389
Love your videos, they have gotten me to put down the iWatch and back to my traditional watches. Now to find a place to get one of them serviced.
  • So I have relaxed and napped during a video or two. When my friend was in the hospital doing cancer treatments i suggested he watch your videos to learn and relax. He enjoyed them too!!
