Little Big Town is toasting multiple career firsts! Yallwire host Stephanie Langston caught up with the group to talk about their recent accomplishments at the party celebrating their #1 song "Pontoon." A pontoon boat was parked outside BMI as the group celebrated the success of their motor boatin' hit. The song is the first single off the group's latest album, Tornado. Tornado took the number one spot on the country charts and number two on the Top 200 chart with 112,758 units sold in its first week.

What's great about LBT (other than their inimitable vocal abilities) is that they are the nicest people who deserve all their hard-won success.

So very, very happy for them! I love them so much and to see them finally have a number one, which they so deserved, is so fantastic! And to hear their words of perseverance is so inspiring! Congratulations LBT, it's still number one and we're in Week #5!!! WooHoo!!!

This was a great interview.....inspiring! I can't decide if I like Pontoon or Tornado more. But, no doubt, the songs are identifiable as Little Big Town. I am looking forward to see what the girls will wear when they are crossing the stage to accept their awards! :)

Guys, You have to understand that whereas, "Singer-songwriters" are special and super talented, there are also many great "Singers" who don't write and many great "Songwriters" who don't perform. Try celebrating the success of others instead of tearing it down! You'll feel better about yourselves too!

Okay, okay. I don't even care about what you think or say about me, but I personally LOVE Little Big Town, and whether you like Taylor Swift or not, don't go send her hate! I don't particularly like her, but I don't send her hate because I know that I wouldn't want people to see me hate, so I don't send them hate. Anyway, I love Little Big Town, and Idc what your opinion on anything I've said is. Bye.

who is the chick with the leaf earrings
  • Haha. "We've been waitin' 13 years for someone to write a good song for us! Then they bought OUR record." Is this what country music has turned into? These people are Barbie Dolls.
  • I dont know about anyone else, but after seeing this interview i am have completely lost my faith in modern country music, This IS a really great song, but why didn't the people who wrote the song just do it themselves.. its like a sick popularity highschool act with musicians. WRITE AND PERFORM YOUR OWN SONGS!!!! they get the pretty people together to get all the praise, they might as well be a 90's boy band

WOW!...I'm amazed at some of the mean comments. Some people are great song writers and can't sing. Some are great singers but can't write lyrics. Faith Hill and Trisha Yearwood both have made comments that they purchase songs because they're not great writers. Taylor Swift should stick to writing because she is a great writer. However her singing is not as good. Singing live she is very off key. She's a product of studio doctoring up.
