My great great great grandfather had over 1000 acres of land in South Carolina. He lost all of it due to Jim Crow laws and infringement by the government. I found out about this just 12 years ago. Fast forward my grandmother passed away and left her home (Beautiful brick 2 story home) to my mother and aunts. I talked to them about keeping it and they sold it and moved on. What you and your family are doing is something that just brings me pure joy. Generational wealth isn't always about money but passing along something tangible for your family to own for generations to come. Making your mark on history. Real tears were formed while watching this. As the old folks would say someone raised you right and instilled in you all the values of faith and family. Much love! 💪🏿

As a black man, this me so happy. I almost shed a tear at the end 😢. This is also my first time seeing your work, and cannot wait to see more.

I respect you putting that perfectly good land to use and making it your own!!! I’m so freaking excited for y’all! Much love brother!!!

Such a great video. My Dad left me 21 acres of heir property in East Texas. It's my dream to develop it and hopefully live there.

We ARE our ancestors. This is amazing, and I'm so proud of all the organization, attention to detail, and hard work you put into your homestead. I'm proud of you all, period. Shout out to your family and friends. Those domes are fantastic. Stay safe and thanks for sharing. 🩵🧡
  • Your ancestors would be so proud of your efforts to honor the land, your history and their memory with all your hard work! Congratulations 💗

The first couple of minutes in I found myself crying. Like uncontrollably. My father passed away 2 years ago this month and he had a tractor the EXACT same beautiful blue color as yours. He too was in his 80’s and loved to be outside just doing things. Fixing things etc. I miss him so much, I can’t believe I got triggered so hard. My family is currently living in Texas, but we’re from the DMV. We are ready to move back home and the thing we miss the most is gardening. It’s tough here with the heat to grow things. I’m familiar with you from your travel vids and I’m glad I stumbled upon this video. This truly touched my soul. I have always loved your energy. Iam now a new subscriber and I thank you for sharing your journey. May God continue to bless you brother. You don’t know the power of your magnitude. Omg, thank you. ❤❤❤🙏🏽

I've been a silent watcher since joining your channel sometime this year but OMG after watching this video I had to comment! This has to be the most impressive video, project, build, and all of that ... I've seen!!! The fact a Black family has successfully passed down land generations and it wasn't taken or sold away is impressive in itself. Now additionally, you are both building a whole (pretty much green) community on it to call it HOME. I love it!!! I had to check to ensure I was subscribed after watching this (I was) b/c I will def remain tuned in to what you both have in store next. Can't wait for the next adventure and for future podcast talks.

Wearing a mask outdoors can really help with pollen, dust, smoke, everything. Keep it up, your progress is amazing!

  • @RecessionHottie
This made me so excited to see you guys win with your inheritance. Peace & blessings to God above for allowing your ancestors to see into the future❤️
  • @bertdavis9320
Congrats Will. Learning to do things yourself is so rewarding. It’s hard. But it feels good when you figure it out. You guys did great.

I'm so proud of y'all!! How wonderful that you have knowledgeable neighbors and family to help you. Keep up the great work. You are making your ancestors proud!
  • @PLJA
Yoooo…. if it hasn’t been said, let’s talk about how inspiring you guys are for things that far surpass watching you put the action of faith (actual manual labor) behind a project you believed heavily in. And with joy! This is the first video I’m seeing of you guys, and I’ve already subscribed to see the journey as it unfolds.
  • @christieo2739
Congratulations!!! You should be extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished. And to have a partner that is ten toes behind you and helping you with the project every step of the way is the icing on the cake.
