Chris, what are your thoughts on spinning reel sizes for different size fish, and spinning vs bait casters? Bass fishermen poo poo spinning reels for anything other than finesse fishing. Yet I see 60 pound catfish being pulled out by a spinning reel. Granted the reel sizes are bigger, but is there any advantage to a bait caster?
  • You said you don’t wanna use your other hand and you should put the reel seat in between your pinky and ring finger so you can reach the line but at 2:46 you use your left hand to reach the line Also I think it’s very uncomfortable to hold the rod in between my pinky and ring finger so I always have it in between my pointer finger and middle finger and my left hand is used to put the line underneath my pointer finger whilst opening the bail I think this is purely a matter of what we s comfortable and easier
