He's an Angel and couldn't condone humans. We're very primitive. Lucifer's only goal is to take as many of God's humans to hell with him. He knows he's beat but he's reigning now. We also know him and God talk to each other through the book of Job mostly. He's God's enemy and my enemy. He's insidious with his temptations and it doesn't take much to lure us humans
