Just back from four-days of mandolin class with Caleb at a (postponed from March 2020) March 2022 oldtime music weekend in Floyd, Virginia. It closed with a wonderful Sunday night Foghorn Stringband concert and dance at the Floyd Country Store. Now I'm transitioning back to "normal" life with an afternoon of Foghorn videos on YouTube. The spelling of the name in the heading makes me wish this band from the Northwestern U.S. had a chance to share a stage with a 1980s New England band I used to contradance to, the Kaynor family's Fourgone Conclusions. "Foghorn & Fourgone" would have been a great double bill. :-)
