I asked my 9 yr old about a tough doctrine. She said I don't understand it but I Believe it. What a Catholic.

Now THIS is a Catholic priest--giving a TRUE Catholic sermon--if only my parish had such among its clergy. Thank you for this!

I’m in a traditional parish is Australia, and I agree with what you say. Those who stay with the Faith are from large families who practice the Faith at home, however within those families, the younger members are less likely to stay with the Faith. I didn’t convert until I was over 30, and I found it incredibly hard at first to completely accept everything the Faith teaches. We moved to be closer to a traditional school and Church. Soon after I booked a camping trip, and without even thinking about it I booked a camping holiday including a Sunday. In my ignorance I thought ‘being away’ excused us from attending Mass. I’m now 56 yrs old, and the only one in our family still practicing the Faith, praying the rosary daily, and receiving a visit from a priest once a month ( I’m disabled). I know now, and am increasing by the grace of God, to realize how much I still have to learn. It’s no longer a shock, a chore, it’s joyous. I’m now spending more time in mental contemplation, and God has been amazing in his forgiveness and mercy. Our Lady with her comforting gentle nudging. Thoughts from my guardian angel and the Holy Spirit to inspire me to do, or not do, a particular action. Glory be to God, and thank you Father for this sermon.

These sermons by this priest just popped back up for me. This is my favorite priest to listen to but haven’t heard a new homily for years. I PRAY he’s still out there courageously preaching and giving himself to bringing souls to Christ.
  • This fearless priest just blows me away... His voice and way of coming across! God bless you precious priest!

I was one of those young persons that checked out to the faith and went to the bars and the beach. And I did it for 30 years of adult life. But, I came back. Pray that they come back! They need our prayers. Prayers brought me back.

Thank you so much for posting this beautiful and truthful homily. As a convert from neo-paganism to the Catholic Church, I can say this is right in all that is stated. May God Bless You, Fr! The world truly needs to hear this message! God is SO good in His Divine Mercy!

  • @MariaAngelaGrow
My thanks also. And I enjoy your Montana speaking. But then, I am pre-Vatican II. My conscience is harder on me than most priests are. I thank God for the priests who are strict confessors.
  • @poetmaggie1

I'm speechless! I'm crying with you Father...it is so sad that so many, many souls are being deceived by devil. No wonder Our Lord sweated blood in the Garden of Gethsemane. It is so heartbreaking to see Our Lord loved so little or not at all by those who is has created our pure love. Thank you so much for such a moving and inspiring sermon...you have certainly inflamed my heart with the love of God and for poor souls. St Michael pray for us and lead Holy Mother Church to victory soon!
