"Tape Face" has never said one word through any of his act. Yet, he gets whole audiences to laugh, smile, cheer and clap for him. Brilliant!

Genius. He makes all the participants look good and he starts off by creating low expectations but then consistently raises the bar. His sense of timing is amazing.

A few well chosen music tracks, two oven gloves and a tape over his mouth - and he had the audience enthralled immediately. This is pure genius.

You know why I think he is the best? That this is the best type of comedy? I showed this whole 20 minute long video to my parents. Who DO NOT speak or understand english. Yet they understood the comedy and laughed for the whole time.

The one with the toilet seat and horse race is just unreal. How can anyone come up with an act like that? 😂 And his timing with the music is incredible. There was no room for a mistake and he absolutely nailed it. What a comedic genius!

His genius, as Howie was pointing out, is that he has brought the art of Mime to the modern world on prime time television. The face paint. The striped uniform. The body language. Building a world in the mind of the audience, and adding new polish to old fashioned parlor tricks. Genius.

It is literally impossible to hate this guy. Every act he comes up with something new and unique makes you wanna keep watching him more and more. Honestly I could watch him all day long just to see what silly thing he comes up with next

I love the cheerful “hi tapeface! How have you been?” In the second clip. Like he’s not even here to compete, he’s just an old friend that stopped by to do some weird shit

Saw him at a stand up show years ago in Birmingham and he was brilliant. The way he was getting audience members to do the most ridiculous things just by facial expressions! Always keep an eye out for his name

This dude has modernized the mime in such a cool way! Passionate hard working, involving the others, to get them entertained, that’s so refreshing. I’d also like to say that Mel is absolutely gorgeous even with a toilet seat around the neck!
