Her answer to why she enrolling her kids into a school without tabs/phone/tech is just AMAZING. That answer alone is the best mom award because these kids are mindlessly watching their tabs and they can't even sit still to do a 15-minute homework assignment. I understand why she's so passionate about it because she experienced it and doesn't want her kids to deal with it and so they develop their own sense of self-worth. She's so underrated.

I grew up in a very religious African household and come from culture that’s deeply patriarchy. And yet my parents let me and my siblings play whatever toys we wanted to play with. My sister and I wanted short hair at 8 and our dad took us to the barbershop. My favourite toys were GI JOE and Spider-Man I also had Barbie dolls , dollhouse , and nurse doll. We wore most of the time trousers , hoodies , sneakers and yet both of us grew up to be straight women. My sis is married with a kid and I’m engaged you would think America being a first world country people would be more free to be whatever they want to be. 🤷🏾‍♀️
