I admire your passion for preserving your culture. I visited Kyoto for a day in 2015 ( sadly only one day of our 10 day trip!). I love places with lots of history. I felt I could have spent the whole 2 weeks in Kyoto and still not seen everything I wanted to. Congratulations on the safe arrival of your new little boy, and I wish you all the best with your 2023 projects! You have a lovely family and I'm glad to know they are your priority. Happy new year!
