They really just said “Yeah, Here have Mela” and just showed us the best character design in Pokémon history.

From the look of it, the three storylines you can follow are the gyms, the herba mystica thing which is likely hunting legendaries, and the Starfall which is fighting the 'evil' team.

So it looks like the three paths each use a different kind of "boss battle". The hunt for ingredients makes you fight "Titans" which basically seem like Totem pokemon, fighting Team Star's bases make you fight their leaders on awesome cars (but also group battles without turns, at 0:59?!?!?!?), and the gym challenge will be like it always is. I really like this twist on the usual formula! I missed how the battles were different in Sun and Moon, so expanding that even further is a major plus to me

The first thing I thought of with Klawf was the crab badniks from Sonic.

So I think the 3 story modes break down like this: 1. Victory Road- Traditional Pokemon style game where you take on the 8 gym leaders, build your team, beat the elite 4 and become champion. 2. Treasure Hunt- The "Story Mode" where you face off against Team Star in search of some treasure, probably gonna be where the most story of the game is. 3. Herba Mystica- "Pokemon legends Arceus 2" essentially. You explore, catch a lot of mons, fill out the dex, and face off against Titan Mons (aka Alpha Pokemon lol)

I'm actually wondering if the two knight pokemon are single stage or two stage pokemon. It's possible that they are split evos of the same base for almost like tyrogue and based on the colors of both of them the split evos might be version exclusives.
