Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

I am French and her French accent is the most perfect I ever heard from a foreign person. And her imitation of French accent speaking English is stunning too.

My gf is French but she was raised in the states. I tell her to speak to me in a French accent but the best she can do is sound like a Texas farmer.

You can tell by her swearing on TV that she's German hahaha. People do that all the time here and it isn't forbidden

I worked with a couple French women and I hate to admit it, but that accent always makes me melt into the floor.

Kruger is one of these rare actresses who can just be themselves even on American talkshows and blow everyone away. Such a great personality to go with her stunning looks.

LOL “the French accent puts a hook into our hearts over here in America.” So true. I’m from NYC I heard a boy speak in a French accent and nearly fell off a rooftop from fainting at how beautiful his speech sounded. We literally adore French people.
