Good Morning Joe- Wolfe Ridge definitely makes great products. Most people typically operate the splitter on the opposite side of the log lift.

Joe, you are correct. The squeaky wheel does indeed get the grease. But remember - it's also the first one to get replaced!! 😅 Glad to see that you were able to get more logs.

Wolf Ridge makes a quality machine!! Thanks for showing us this one. When I run a horizontal machine with log lift I like to walk around the machine to operate the controls. It may take time but you avoid the trip hazard of the lift table, and hot engine/exhaust. If your running it all day just something to think about!

I'll be in the market for a small splitter next year. We process wood in two locations so the processor can stay where the logs get delivered. Location number 2 is wood that I haul out of the forest and buck with chainsaw so a small machine like this would do alright

I can't believe anyone would split wood without a log lift. Think over time what that wear and tear does to ones back. Ouch! 👍👍👍👍👍🤠

Enjoy you sharing part of life. Just a hint if you are on the other side of the machine and leave the log lift up it gives you more room to table what needs to be re split. Less bending over better on the back as we get older.
