The 1 Thing I Did That Changed My Entire Life For The Better

Published 2021-05-16
These are my tactics, but you can come up with your own. I just keep experimenting with different routines, trying to find something that helps me work on the next piece of myself that needs working on.

I urge you to do the same.

  • The best time to do something for yourself was 5 years ago... The second best time is NOW.

Step 1 for me was learning to love myself. Now I've flipped my life around and I've been living very happily since. If a piece of shit like me can change, anyone can.

Just starting is the hardest part of all. Once I truly start, I'm practically unstoppable. When I was able to run, sometimes I wouldn't feel like it. But, I told myself if I would just go out there and spend 10 minutes and, if I didn't feel into it, I could just stop and go home. I had to make that promise to myself many times. However, I NEVER gave up after 10 minutes. I was already committed to being out there so it was easy to continue. But, I fully and always would keep my promise that if that day wasn't it, I'd call it a day. Thanks for all you share!!! XO

i like the '2 minute rule'. if something takes less then two minutes you should do it. don't put it off, don't think i will do it later, don't think i will do it next time, don't think you will remember it next time: just do it. for things lasting 10 minutes, you should plan to do it in the next 7 days.

"Step #3, becoming aware of my insecurities" worked for me. Awareness is just the first step, but WHAT WE DO with that knowledge makes all the difference.
  • It's so fun to experiment with different routines ! I've been doing that for years and there are always ways to improve !
