Brendan's knees and black gumboots - terrific dynamic range.

Brendan, of course you're going to bend the rules and boy am I glad you did (and didn't fall into the falls) lol. Thank you for that :) Beautiful shots!

Brendan , wonderful video and captures my friend!! Such Amazing light we had on a lot of the trip. I had so many excuses for getting paper towels to wash the vans windows because the attendant was watching me lol, but happy to do it for us all. When we stayed back with Greg now I can see what I missed when you guys went ahead . Super video Brendan and thanks for sharing some awesome memories!! 👍👍

"Sulphur soaked Greg and the rule bender", I know there's a song in there somewhere 😂😂 You definitely got some excellent images 👍👍

With any luck, Greg found a place to enjoy some pizza and beer. Rock on! 🍕🍕🍺🍻 Ein prosit!

Some lovely images there. Awesome.

Dettifoss in Summer 2021, no ropes, sat right on the edge, well one rock back 😉 such an impressive sight. Would never dream of breaking rules or stepping over ropes if it meant you were trampling flora but sometimes to get a unique angle you have to providing you do it safely and with respect, no picture is ever worth your life. The access you are afforded in Iceland to so many incredible locations makes it a photographers heaven, just don’t end up going there 👍

Beautiful images mate 👌

I went to Iceland for the first time in 2007 and I have been there 3 other times since then. Every time I return, the difference is massive. More ropes, more view platforms, more walkways, more paid parking lots, restrictions all over the place. They're probably needed, due to the amount of visitors Iceland has these days. The country remains amazingly beautiful but the visit experience is not even close to what it used to be. You could walk to the waterfalls and stand under them if you wanted to. There were no paid parking lots everywhere. Heck, in a lot of places there were no parking lots. As an example, that famous crashed airplane...when I went there, I drove there and stop the car right beside the airplane. Now you need a long walk to get there. I'm sure the next time I visit, I'll find even more restrictions.

Really enjoying the series ...

When Greg asked you what time it is at the beginning, I actually said "Tool Time" out loud not knowing that you were about to say that too, lol! Those are some impressive waterfalls, and it's even better when you don't have to worry about wearing a lot of heavy coats either!

Reykjafoss looks a lot like Gulfoss, but without the throngs of tourists. Do you always use an ND filter for slow-shutter waterfall shots? What do you use? (something expensive, I'm sure – mine result in a purple cast to the image so I don't like using them).

The first falls needed a 12mm, imo. I tried it with my 14mm, but even that was a bit too tight. Another awesome vlog, Brendan!

Only a tough Canadian can wear shorts in Iceland ✊

How do we join you on your photography trips? I’ve been wanting to do a photography trip for sometime now and have been watching your YouTube channel and everything I’ve seen you do I’ve been inspired by so it would be awesome to get out on one of these trips with a bunch of crazy photographers.

Fabulous. Though I do miss your … “let’s go to a boring place with bad light but still capture an amazing photo” videos.
