This man is actually such a cinematic actor, he played this album perfectly.

Honestly, it's really sad Abel's darker songs are less popular than his radio friendly bops but OG xo fans know this is why we got on the ride with him in the first place
-
It's so painful. This whole album is so painful. It's so vulnerable, everything hurts. The 3 bonus tracks just opens the wound again. It's like the whole album is about the absolute hollow feeling of yearning for a partner, a companion, a friend to share the pain with and be at peace.

This song really hits hard in the contrast to "After Hours" song. Makes me emotional everytime. This album is classic.

Director: how many times do you want to fall in this music video? Abel: yes.

Director: How many times do you wanna fall down? King of the Fall: Yes

i genuinely want this man to be happy.
-
I can't believe this song is already a year old, no body isn't hearing this side of him :(
-
When a song makes you cry about something you didn’t experience, that’s when you know it’s a masterpiece.
-
"and I'm back to my ways cause I'm heartless" he's back in the house of balloons
-
I still dont know why mainstream dont like this kind of songs. This is straight up r&b. This is The Weeknd's style and genre. This should be up there at the top.
-
People always talks about The Weeknd but never Abel, Abel the human being. I genuinely can’t believe that that man is happy with himself mentally, due to every song is filled with doubt and indifference. I just hope the best for you, Abel.

Give this man awards for his musical and acting talent he's so talented that's insane

It makes all sense now. The whole album makes sense. He's done with his old life and he wants to move on but his past haunts him by bringing him back to the parties, drugs, sex. he's numb to all of it. He doesn't want to be alone and empty anymore. He just wants love from the right one.
-
there is so much pain in this song. I love how he has taken a concept that is inspired from his own life and turned it into a beautiful and electrifying masterpiece. I don't know whether the album was therapeutic or destructive for me which is a sign of a GREAT friggin' album. It tells a story and all of relate to it in our own different ways because most of us have faced this sort of a turmoil in varying intensities. He really took my heart away with this album, it is probably the most orchestral and conceptual albums of all time!

The most underrated song of after hours
-
We have to protect Abel at all costs we cannot lose this man.
-
"I wanna cut you out of my dreams" hits different. 😭
-
2 years later and still my most played song. This guy's a genius man
-
When he said “I don’t even wanna get high no more.” I felt that
