This Mod Let's You Drop A NUKE In BeamNG Drive...literally

It sure is amazing that explosions in BeamNG started with the propane tank mod. We've come a long way! The Convergence game mode looked incredible and seeing a video of it would be great 😲

This would be fantastic in multiplayer: 1 person placing the nukes along the route and everyone else trying to get to a safe point

Thanks for showcasing the mod :). The Convergence is a work in progress so things may change in the future; it's also one of those things where I had a stupid idea and the logical part of me realised that there wasn't anything stopping me from adding it (other than about 2 months of time lol). There's been lots of comments about using this mod in multiplayer - right now, it will not work properly :(. The main issue is this mod doesn't use vehicles as the explosives (which makes it significantly more performant), but that means mods like BeamMP that isn't built to sync world objects will not show explosions for everyone on the server. Truthfully, I also need to properly look into it - depending on how its implemented (I assume it's sensibly creating a single server that acts as the "source of truth") depends on whether it's even possible. There are many, many implementation questions and concerns that would need to be addressed, however it's the most highly requested feature to add so I intend to at least look into it. But it will at least be quite a while before multiplayer is properly supported I would imagine :).

So i could honestly see using the lightning storm and shockwave on some of those multiplayer downhill maps with the first person to reach the end sets off one of the big explosions.

Orbital strike needs to move about a bit, and have a single beam. Then it will look like the beam from the satellite in Goldeneye.

This reminds me of those old Minecraft TNT mods hah Love how Beamng mods are getting more and more creative!

The best car for „Convergence“ is the S- Tune Sunburst „Totally stock“ (I tested it with multiple modded and vanilla vehicles and got the best results with „Totally stock“
