We have shifted to this mindset as well. No more spending money on stuff, spend it on experiences that builds memories. Glad you had a great trip up north!

Youtube got many minimalist lifestyle videos as well as grocery/clothing haul videos. I have chosen minimalist lifestyle to save money and avoid clutter. The less stuff I have the less I have to care for those stuff and the less I have to work. Not good for the economy though, lol. I would love to go to Maine someday. Great trip.
