If I was to describe the difference between the two versions, the original sounds more angry, like the pain is fresh and the person is furious that everything is breaking around them. This version sounds like someone looking back, or an immortal soul reflecting on everything they’ve lost and allowing themselves to mourn it for the first time. Both are beautiful and heartbreaking 💔

I remember when people would use "Dynasty" to edit their fandom ships, and every time I came across one I knew it would be fantastic simply because of this song.
