This trumpet is SO easy to play and has such a great center to the notes and sound! Listen to Charlier #2 pop around 3:45!

The 1961 trumpets play so in tune and with such ease. They are a bit heavier than a Bach trumpet, but they have a nice solidity to the feel without being tubby or losing any agility. This particular show demo trumpet was only used at 3 shows this year and was built around February 2023! And check out the control on the dynamics too! Wow, what a horn!

Here's what Schagerl has to say about the 1961 model:
Built with the American trumpeter and the American sound in mind, the 1961 line offers a rich and vibrant sound - resonant and clear. The 1961, of course, features a remarkably smooth and even response in all registers, which is a hallmark of all Schagerl trumpets. The designation "1961" also serves as a musical nod to the heyday of the classic American orchestral trumpet sound, which Schagerl has tried to emulate with this new model line: with it they honor the classic American trumpet sound.
"B2N" in the model name means:
B = Bb
2 = Double Twin Leadpipe
N = Nickel outside Leadpipe (inside Yellow brass)

    Wow ... the 1961 sounds fantastic. What a full, rich singing voice! I understand Schagerl wanted a more 'American' trumpet, and this seems to have hit the mark. I'd love to hear a side-by-side comparison with this, an Adams 1v2, a Strad 37, CB Giuffredi, XO 1602, and a Xeno. That would be an epic battle!

    Hi Trent. Is there a reverb in post production or what we hear is the room reflecting the sound back to the microphone?
