I will never know why the critics panned this movie. It Is such a great romantic comedy and the chemistry between Mandy Moore and Matthew Goode is sublime. I love this movie! 😊

I was around 8 years old when I first watched the movie. And, now I'm 21. Believe it or not, I've been searching for this movie for years and I can't seem to just find it. But eventually, I did. When I was a kid, I thought the female lead (Mandy) was a criminal and she was running away from the police but it turns out she was the President's daughter and is chased by her father's guards. Anyway, this is my second time watching this after 13 years. Felt nostalgic.

First time I heard of this song is in this movie. The moment I heard the rhythm of piano, my eyes watered. If you listened to it carefully, it might be a little bit too ‘big’ for a romantic movie. But when watching this scene, you’ll be able to understand. A well protected 18 year old girl. She’s so eager to know the world by herself. Embarking her trip with this handsome and caring young man. Was she in love? Of course. Love at that moment, is everything for her.
