Exceptionally well titled video. This is the form factor for a TABLET. All these 12.9 and 14.6 inch tablets just aren’t practical for a handheld device. 🐬

I have an iPad Mini 6. It is my favorite iPad. I have a 12.9 M2 Pro as well. It is my primary knowledge capture and reading and note taking device. I am never without it. To tell the truth I answer the phone with it more often than I use the iPhone. I can’t wait for a new version of the iPad mini. Back in the day people used to carry something called a “Commonplace Book.” A commonplace book is a personal compilation of knowledge, ideas, observations, and quotations. It is a notebook or journal where people record and collect information that they find interesting, useful, or inspiring. The concept of a commonplace book dates back several centuries and has been practiced by many notable individuals throughout history, including writers, philosophers, scientists, and thinkers. The iPad mini is my digital version of a commonplace book. I keep mine in a leather book cover that also holds my Apple Pencil. It is perfect for writing down notes while sitting in a dimly lit bar sipping on a nice scotch or chianti. It never runs out of paper. If you get it with WiFi+Cellular, you almost don’t need a phone. Just add a VOIP plan, from Vonage or someone, even SKYPE. I highly recommend the iPad mini.
  • Both of us here use them, so light and handy. They come out far enough apart that we get every one and pass the old ones down in the extended family. Great for reading too.

You mentioned at home cases but the iPad mini makes for an amazing work tablet. I worked at one place as Computer Service Desk tech and carried my mini everyday and everywhere. I could update my tickets on the go, update inventory using excel, look up troubleshooting guides online, and remote back into my main winbox when needed. Pair that with an network dongle to test a LAN, and you had very light weight mobile assistant.

Hands down my favorite iPad. The size and for factor are perfect!

I love my iPad Mini 6. I originally got mine for editing pics and watching videos when my husband and I go on our long motorcycle trips. But it's ended up being the device that travels with me EVERYDAY just like my phone! I do all my calendar planning digitally, so it's my planner. I use it to journal in Apple Notes and to read books in Apple Books or the Kindle App. I have a Kindle Paperwhite that I've actually only used once, as the mini is just more comfortable. I'm of that age where I have to wear readers to clearly see text, so the mini is a little easier for reading than my iPhone Pro Max. I also use it to watch youtube or occasionally, Netflix. I don't ask it to be my work device, but for me it's the perfect personal digital tool. 🐬

I was a Day 1 adopter of this iPad and it has not disappointed. Its primary uses include streaming my workout videos when I’m not at home as well as being the perfect size for my college textbooks.

I absolutely love my 12.9 inch pro, but I have to say I’ve had a mini since they first came out and I have the current version now that I’ve had since it came out two years ago and honestly by far the mini is my favorite iPad ever.

I moved up front an iPad Mini 5 to the Mini 6 when it released two years ago. I use it for content consumption and controlling my Echo devices, and I'm totally pleased with it. I have a Mac laptop and desktop for more intensive tasks.
  • Had iPads from the first and mini 3, 5 and now the 6. I’ve had pro 12.9 2018, and just boxed up a 12.9 M2. Mini is it for me, I hope they keep it going, and add Face ID, brighter screen, but just keep making them.
  • @Ace_Angelo
Still have mine and it’s the ultimate sketch book and fits snuggly into my small bag. Can’t wait to see more iterations of it
  • @movdqa
I'm still using the iPad mini 5 and it needs a new battery but it's still fine for reading books, watching videos and reading email. The 6 is definitely nicer with the larger screen and USB-C. I have a small medical kit with a slot that will hold a paperback book or small tablet an the iPad mini is perfect. The thing is that upgrading to the 6 is a tough sell because the 5 is so good. I also bring the iPad mini 5 when running on the treadmill. The treadmill has a screen and tray that are a certain size and the iPad mini fits the width of the screen at my treadmill. The metrics are at the top of the treadmill display so I can see the numbers while watching the video. I mostly do audio podcasts but watch a video sometimes.
  • I want one but at this point in time it can’t be too far away from the next generation so I may as well wait.Hopefully, the jelly scroll issue will be fixed too.

I picked up an iPad mini 6 with cellular from a liquidation store for $380 USD. I must say, I've been rather impressed with it. Having a 2018 iPad pro 12.9 inch, I find I reach for the mini 6 way more than I do the larger one. Oh & 🐬

I bought the iPad Mini 6 at the beginning of 2023. Since its release, but at the time I had the 2021 iPad Pro. What attracted me to the mini was the size, the fact that the device offers a full desktop web browser and the portability. I bought the LTE version, which this device was meant to have mobile connectivity. I use my mini as a GPS guide, content consumption, and some light gaming either through Arcade or Nvidia.
  • I just bought one 2 weeks ago and I love it. It replaced my iPad Pro 11 inch
  • @chrislux
I bought my Mini 6 in February and it replaced my iPad Pro 11“, I am really happy with it. The form factor is so underrated, it’s so enjoyable to use your tablet with one hand, people should really try out a Mini before buying a standard iPad 😊
  • @coralof
I bought one just a few days ago. I had the first-gen iPad mini years ago now, so I'm interested to see how much it has improved. It's arriving tomorrow!

I do love my iPad mini 6 cellular 256 GB. It’s great for outside use cases. 😊. the only thing I would „die for“ is the telephone app on that device. 🎉😂
