I absolutely LOVE my Tavor TS12. For home defense stand off range to 50 yards, NOTHING BEATS THIS.

I've got one of these. Man is it amazing! I ran Monarch HV long range dove, Federal 8 shot field, Universal 7 1/2 field, Remington #8 super handicapped, and Estate 00 buck. I ran 30 rounds of each, and only had 2 misfeeds. The misfeeds gapped in the first 5 rounds of monarch. The gun has an adjustable buffer setting, I switched it over, and never had another single jam or feed error in 145 rounds that day. Haven't had a jam since.

It looks like a beast. The features alone make me want one. The fact that it's the coolest looking semiautomatic shotgun I've ever seen is a bonus.

Very informative. I'm glad that you are showing the disassembly and reassembly as that's important to know when considering the TS12. Too many youtube channels are no longer showing the basics, just a lot of trigger time.

I'm going to try to pick one of these up from my local dealer in a day or two. I watched a lot of reviews and they were all positive, but your enthusiasm for this gun was unparalleled and was a big reason I became very interested in owning one.

By far, one of the best reviews available. You have mastered the "tube twist". It seems that all of the other reviewers tend to peer at the tube as they execute the tube rotation. A quick release sight or sight mount is mandatory (hard to find a case wide enough). As you were..

I've loved mine and my tavor 7 about as much as the original 5.56 tavor I purchased. IWI makes some cool stuff.

I have a TS12 and freaking love it! In your cleaning section you neglected to remove the gas piston for a thorough cleaning. Depending on the ammo you are using and dirty it is, once the piston starts getting heavily fouled you will start to have cycling issues. Granted this has only happened with mine after 250 to 300 rounds of dirty shooting ammo, and it only happened with lighter loads. With full power buckshot or slugs it just kept eating!!! Mine will cycle ANYTHING 100%, with exception of Federal Tactical LE reduced recoil slugs, it does not like them, and has FTE issues. From inspection it appears the length of the fired shells is rather long and causes them to get stuck in the ejection port. But that's why it is important to experiment with different loads! With this thing eating everything else with no problems though, it is a wicked machine! (BUY PLENTY OF AMMO!!!!)
