  • Scp 2316: lures people by using reconisable faces Introverts and people with no friends: I have no such weakness
  • @oakthebee1722
You can tell when something is up with him when he starts having little pauses between each word. It also seemed suspicious when he said I do not recognize the bodies in the water and then said "good" a bit too enthusiastically, like he's fighting with himself to convince himself that not recognizing them is good. Excellent work
  • This was one of the greatest performances I’ve ever heard. You can tell that Hunter doesn’t believe himself when he says he doesn’t know them, and he repeats it more and more to convince himself until he finally breaks. Phenomenal job Hunter. 50/10.
  • @liviquail
I like how the tone of voice changes at the "Can you hear us? We're waiting..." line at the end. It sounds calmer and kind of sinister, while everything before that was desperate and pleading and emotional. Like the narrator's breakdown wasn't real, just part of the effect to lure you to the lake.
  • @mackzun
The voice actor did a stunning job, well done good sir.
  • @calicalico318
Jeez hunter really knows how to strike that type of discomforting terror into you with nothing but his voice, that’s some scary awesome talent.
  • @Radical576
Blind people: “Puny lake, I have no weakness”
  • @sheilabadeila
What if you get a fully blind D-Class and tell them to just hang out on the shore? 👀 Would the perception of the bodies "speaking" begin if the person had no concept the bodies were present?
  • @jamesmcgrath23
I have to wonder how the lake would respond to a total sociopath. “Yes, I recognize the bodies in the water. No, I don’t care. Bye.” Edit: Yes everyone, I meant a psychopath. Not a sociopath. Thank you for pointing that out.
  • @samwill7259
So does...does the Foundation just not HAVE any blind people working for them? Seems like it would undercut a lot of anomalies to just get some folks who are differently abled to work with these things.
  • @donvansnarr198
Hunter wakes up every morning and goes through like 15 different voices before he decides which voice pattern he's locking in for the day I swear.
  • My defense against this is that I wasn't even born until two decades after this "incident" would've taken place. Now as this is a cognito hazard, it probably would update itself to my appropriate year. That aside, there are a few ways to look at this. 1) The lake is a predator that uses cognito hazards to hunt, and the SCP are actually trying to Secure the area, Contain the hazard, and Protect the public. The class of XX is just the message the lake makes up to guide you to its dark, murky depths. 2) This is another SCP blunder they actively caused with the class of 76 and are actively trying to cover it up. 3) there really was a class of 76 that went swimming in an anomalous lake that ended in disaster and any survivors are alive because the SCP foundation where also there do to strange disappearance reports and decided to check out the lake (Basically view 1, but with a twist from view 2 that makes the scp potentially look bad).
  • Wow, shout out to the camera man for recording these SCP videos. They never get into any trouble and always get away with sharing sensitive information, i say, bravo.
  • Not going to lie guys... I low key think I recognize the bodies in the water.
  • @DanielCraft1000
the narrator breaking character on the outro always cracks me up, it's so funny
  • @Tab1300
I love SCPs that are tied to the class of '76 it's really an intresting mystery. Was the whole class anomalous or was a really powerful reality bender apart of? It's really interesting.
  • A good way to combat this scenario would be to have a team of drones controlled by those resistant to cognitohazards, or locked in a secured room with amnestics at the ready. Have a drone drop a sub-bot into the water in order to get a closer analysis of the entity or entities. This would minimize the risk of losing more personnel to the hazard, and should they be taken by the urge to pull one out this could provide an opportunity for more studies.
  • I failed the test and felt the pull about a minute into his breakdown. That's some good story telling/voice work.
  • PHENOMENAL VOICE ACTING! This is one of my top 5 favorite SCPs, and you did it such justice. Thank you for this video!
