Rubicant Gets Pwned Too

This video is of normal gameplay and, like with Kainazzo, made me go "...wait, what?" considering this boss gave me a bit of trouble way back in the day. Although, his defeat was nowhere near as embarrassing as his watery companion, Rubicant still goes down quite easily, a lucky shot aside. The characters are not power leveled, but are hanging out in the low-30s. Except for Edge as he's merely in the high 20s.

To explain a few things going on, I choose to use Virus with Rydia to do good, consistent damage while avoiding healing him if he were suddenly close his cloak (as Edge accidentally does with Flood) if I tried Ice 2 or Shiva. This never happened, especially since that second Virus casted way faster than I expected, but the risk was still there. With Rosa I considered casting slow, but decided to forego it and commence with the beat down. At the end, I delay on making her act as I wanted to cast Cure 3 on Kain as soon as he landed, but Kain went and delivered a killing blow (the jerk), so I instead have her do Change in order to dance to Rubicant's demise.

If you're curious and didn't figure it out on your own, Kain, Cecil, and Rosa are using ice weapons, which deal massive damage to Rubicant, even with the cloak closed. In other words, mindlessly chasing after the highest power statistic is not always the best option (though it usually is, to be honest).
