People in the UK are always saving their calories for the pub and Cadbury chocolates.

The hotdogs are easy to explain Joe. They cook on a flat top grill (the meat and presumably the bun is toasted there too), or in a fryer. Cooking them in water would add another cooking station (taking up more space and requiring another employee). Grilling them just adds a job for the existing grill cook, and spitting them gets them cooked more quickly than leaving them whole (roughly half the time). The other option, a rolling grill (like you'd see at convenience stores amongst other places) requires there to be constantly cooking dogs, and restaurant margins tend to be too close to potentially throw away food that way. Make it to order as quickly as possible while using the fewest number of employees, and cooking stations and the result is a grill fried split dog.
  • What I love about these videos is that there are people like me that when seeing the uk stuff just see that as the normal menu but then you’ve got Americans who see their menu as normal

The best part of this series is the exclusives section.

2 factors in the UK that dictates fast food regulations; 1) UK has implemented portion control to control obesity, 2) UK/EU does not allow certain ingredients in their foods because it is not deemed fit for human consumption.

Half of the stuff when I worked at McDonald’s from July 2021-March 2022 is not there anymore from the US; like the parfait, the tenders, a butter chicken sandwich, the salads, the doughnuts, etc. they still have all the breakfast items though lol

Harry: I had fun shooting this- Joe: SAME! Harry: -one
  • You can interpret the whole season in 2 ways : The UK Scams you or the US eats too much :)
  • Watching Harry and Joe, how Joe tries to prove US is better while Harry is just there listen attentively to the criticism honestly one of the most entertaining things on youtube

I remember when McDonalds milkshakes used to have different sizes and the large was like a big slurped size! It came in the same size as their large cup when they were styrofoam (and much better since it didn’t melt your ice in 10 mins like the plastic ones do). But boy, a large milkshake from McDonald’s back then was SO MUCH ice cream.
  • “Scones are actually eaten with cream or jam during an afternoon tea” The most British thing ever
  • Idk i just love listening to harry talk its so satisfying and joe is absolutely halarious
  • @whatimmacallit
I like when they actually eat the food. It made me so sad when Joe said the wings smelled so good and he wanted to eat one but didn’t.
  • This 3-hour video has more chemicals than our chemistry lessons that we take in FULL YEAR.
  • @sunglasses7944
