This was my childhood show. I'm 40 and this brought me tears. Oh the nostalgia.
  • Surpried it's taken THIS LONG for there to be a Reading Rainbow documentary. You'd think they would've done this YEARS ago by now.
  • Sitting here bawling tears of joy from the happiness this TV show brought me as a child. ❤ I hope LeVar genuinely knows how many of our lives he touched.

Lavar Burton holds a very dear place in mine and my five brothers' hearts. Reading Rainbow got us through many Summers stuck at home as both of our parents worked. Reading Rainbow created such a happy, magical feeling. We knew that song by heart and sang it regularly. They don't make quality like that anymore..." but you don't have to take my word for it."

Whom else is singing the them song now? Yes! Brought tears and glimmers of joyous memories and smiles.

Just hearing the Reading Rainbow song makes me smile. It’s so nostalgic to a much simpler time as a kid

Greatest trailer EVER for using “but you don’t have to take my word for it” at the end. ❤❤❤
  • Reading Rainbow, Arthur, Wishbone, were some of my favorite shows growing up. Thankful my parents were too cheap to buy cable. Grew up on public t.v.
