It would have been nice to show the mounting of the dash cover to the old cover. This video while with good intent missed perhaps the most important part and that is laying down the dash cover.

Nice man. I did Dynamat on the inside of my OBS dash to hold it all tight. Turns out a lot of noise comes from those hollow dashes, much quieter.

if you drill a 1/16 or 1/8th. hole at the end of the crack it well stops cracking.

Makes no sense, you put some kind of foil on it and it magically repaired itself🤷♂️ Which makes no sense at all. How are you going to glue it with the foil stuck to the top of the dash? Without taking the whole dash out your video is missing the actual repairs. Looks like you just cut the video and put a whole new dash piece in there to make yourself look good🤷♂️

My question is how does the center by the radio not rattle still with it falling in like that. I've looked into doing this on my Sierra but I'm curious how gluing thus over my cracked dash that the cracked dash bellow won't still rattle

Thanks for the links, but you made a very painful to watch video. I swear you went over what you were going to do three times (leave it overnight) within the first four minutes. I put the video on 1.5 speed, and still had to jump forward a bunch to see actual work getting done.
