Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
No items in battle (only held)
No overleveling the next gym leader

For anyone trying to find a metal coat. While you can take on Bronzor for them. You can also get metal coat earlier in the game. It's a rare chance but in the underground magnemite can be found carrying a metal coat. Just FYI. I got two from grinding them.

I kinda love how pretty much every Nuzlocke I've seen for this game ends with defeating Cynthia through sheer luck :D Your videos inspired me to have a monotype run, too. Did it mono water, even without the hardcore aspect it was still quite a challenge! :)

In my original Platinum playthrough I got stalemated with my Torterra against Fantina’s Mismagius. I couldn’t hurt it with anything but Leech Seed and it couldn’t damage me more than Leech Seed healed. Seeing the Torterra vs. Mismagius here gave me genuine shivers.
