My theory, Newt: Porcupine Tina: Salamander

I want to imagine he casts it and it is any or all magical and non-magical creatures. An entire bestiary of animals only casted by a powerful wizard. It would make more sense why Dumbledore would choose him.

With a name like Newt Scamander, I always thought his patronus would be a dragon. Dragons were archaically referred to as lizards, wyrms, or salamanders. In addition, you did mention that his love interest Tina has "gold" in her name. Dragons hoard gold. That's my case and I'm sticking to it.

Honestly, I expect to see it change each time he casts it.

Spoiler Alert: it may be a Salamander as newt says that Tina's eyes are like Salamanders.

Can you imagine when Newt casts a Patronus, a stampede of silver magical creatures appear? I do agree with porcupine though :D

Fun fact: how we know newt and Tina will be together is A: Luna lovegood marries their grandson B: the way they introduced themselves was nearly exactly the way Ron and hermione did.

Porcupines are fitting for Newt even without taking his affection for Tina into account. They're normally gentle creatures (Newt is usually a passive and kind person), but can be difficult to interact with (a porcupine's quills vs Newt's social awkwardness and overall dislike of most humans) and can easily mess you up if you try to mess with them.

Um let us not forget professor Mc badass i mean mcgonagall has a cat Patronus and not only can she conjure one cat patronus she can conjure two!!

SPOILERS BELOW . . . . . . . I feel that Newt’s patronus may actually be a Salamander! In the new movie he said that Tina’s eyes resembled that of a salamander! It seems perfect if they reveal a relationship between Newt and Tina with Newt showing her that his relationship is the creature that he relates to her. <3

I think Newt’s patronus is a Kelpie because a Kelpie is literally the “S” in the Fantastic Beasts logo. 😃

What if Rowling watches these theory videos and says to herself "These are really cool. I should have used some of these."

You asked "What is your Patronus?" Mine is a rat. Both because they are one of my favorite animals, excluding Peter Petigrew as Wormtail of course, he gave rats a bad name! Also due to the fact that my soul sister loved rats too. It's what brought us together to find a missing piece of each other's soul. Sadly I lost her to cancer which rocked my world to it's core. I am still grieving after 2 years. Even if I hadn't already loved rats, I believe my Patronus would have become a rat in honor of her. I even made a graphic with a rat using Snape's "Always" because I will always love my sister with all my heart. In fact I always used to greet her with "Hey Sis!" Kinda like you guys do, but I've always used Hey as a greeting. But Jay's "See you in another life." Is so poignant now. I know this is an older video but I just wanted to share. Love all your videos! You guys rock!!
