I think it would make the most sense that both flowers would give it's own unique potion effect. It would suit the wild, unchartedness, and exotic vibe of the plants

Maybe torch flowers should glow in the dark, like redstone torches. That'd be magical
  • @Borthralla
They should make the torchflowers more useful. Maybe they could scare creepers away and prevent them from spawning.
  • Eyecraft: Never hurt these cute animals under any conditions... Also Eyecraft: Slaughters almost entire Sniffer herd :_LOL:

From a geological perspective, lush caves would be incredibly warm and moist, perfect for egg incubation. Moss also has an incredible insulator capacity as the air pockets prevent heat from dispersing through the whole material, whereas things like sand heat and cool very rapidly. I personally am getting over Mojang's need to focus on cosmetics without adding relevant mechanics. They'd rather add new items than correct things like the lack of dyeable objects in the game.
  • Fun fact: You can feed a brown mooshroom a torch flower, then use a bowl on, it for a night vision effect (:
  • The torch flower can also be used to create a night vision suspicious stew if you pair it with a bowl a red mushroom and a brown mushroom

I really appreciate you. It's hard for me to watch a lot of these guides because the creators are practically yelling but you're very well spoken and so thorough. Thank you so much for doing these

The pitcher plant should break into two pieces: the plant itself and the root. The root can be placed anywhere, and the plant can be placed back on it. The root can be cooked to get baked pitcher root, which gives 3.5 hunger bars
  • Idea for the Pitcher plant, you could fill it with a potion and depending on what it was, it would attract mobs, sort of like the actual pitcher plants do.

I think torch flowers should be in an arrow recipe. Maybe they could be artificial flame arrows. And with pitcher pods, maybe a potion called “the cave master” that is similar to the tuetlemaster, but geared towards caving
  • Torch Flowers need to generate light. It's literally in the name. Would be nice to have more natural sources of light to decorate bases with. Pitcher Pods could be used for a new potion effect, or a preexisting effect. Perhaps a temporary source of one of the Beacon effects?

Hearing you being very audibly happy with the Sniffers is so endearing, I'm so glad these creatures are in the game now!

So this entire mob has no actual use other than giving you two types of flowers? Incredible.
  • I hope more ancient flowers are added in future updates because we need more flowers in minecraft.
  • The sniffer is actually the first ever mob vote mob that I supported that ended up in the game! (RIP copper golem, iceologer)
  • Only mojang would add a mob that has a 6.5% drop rate for the egg from a rare mob that takes a total of 30-40 minutes to mature and is only used to get a single drop every 8 minutes (50% chance for the one you want), which is then used to farm a crop item that doesn't drop seeds, forcing you to repeat that last few steps. All of this only gets you a flower... they need to stop adding what "seems cool" and start adding features that make any sort of sense. Who would figure any of that out intuitively? Why would anyone ever grind for these? It's so pointless.

Considering the Sniffers have a chance of dropping moss and their backs look like they're covered in some sort of mossy plant, I wonder if Sniffer eggs hatch faster on moss because it simulates being with a parent Sniffer, or maybe Sniffers naturally hatch their eggs by carrying them on their backs? I don't know but I thought it was interesting :)

Your reaction to how cute Snifflets are was so adorable
