You didn't even bring up Ironman's greatest power, his intelligence. True, that does get implied with his gadgets (which I'd think his suit's AI could keep up with Homelander easily and counter that slight edge he has), Ironman would EASILY out-think Homelander and innovate new weapons until one of them got the job done. Needless to say, I agree with the result lol.

Thanks to nano tech i can even imagine Tony re configuring his suit on the fly and using Homelanders heat vision as battery charger. "Hey thanks for the recharge. My power level went from 100% to 99,999% in the hour that we fought and is now back to 100%"

Lets not forget what tony can make as well, if for some reason tony cant win & survives the encounter, then he can easily just make a special suit thats made to counter homelander

Gotta admit, Homelander almost has a chance against Ironman during the first few MCU movies before Tony starts scrapping with Thor (who, even early on, violates the entire verse with ease). Literally every suit after Avengers will fold Homelander like hes a street tier thug, bar maybe the briefcase suit. Homelander is entertaining, but hes kind of a bitch.
