Happy to see Gino doing so well. At nearly 50 years old, seeing him so active and killing it, is special.
  • A stone cold masterpiece. One of the very best skate docs I've ever seen.
  • @DRDOMINICO
Only Gino could somehow inspire Ave to actually sit in front of a camera and talk 😂 sick vid

I love how skateboarding celebrates it's OG's just as much as the young bucks..

one new thing i learned about Gino, my man has no issues pulling beautiful ladies.
  • Poor soul really does not realize how much he inspired others peoples lives

Timeless style, such an OG. Gino is one of the greatest to ever do it, no doubt
  • Thank you for making this clip. I can truly relate to Gino. Sobriety is hard and you’re a lot clearer which is great but it can be a deep dark hole. He uses his times to do the activities that he likes outside of skating which I do too as well. When he say he’s “trying” everyday, he’s speaking for me to the core. Which I am too. So relatable. Thanks for talking, opening up and showing us die hard skateboard fans your current life and talked about some past that all of us didn’t know. Congratulation on becoming a father Gino, you’re going to do great. Create good new memories with your son and partner. Thank you Gino and thrasher. Life is beautiful. Keep on pushing.

Wow. I'm only 22 and have not been through nearly as much as this guy right here, and I got emotional at the end seeing Gino in that setting. Still trying to make my way through college, work, and find time to skate for myself. I really resonated with the statement Gino made about idle time being the devils playground. I took a lot from this piece. Beautfiul work Thrasher!

I attended USC from 1999-2002. I saw some of this in person and feel incredibly fortunate that I witnessed any of it.

This is the best Out There episode yet 🙏🏽 blessings to Gino and his family
  • That happiness is going to grow SO HARD if you let it... I never expected, or wanted to be a father to be honest, and it was pretty surreal for the first year. My daughter is almost 11 now, and I've pretty much forgotten the hard work. it can be a struggle, and sobriety is hard for me,, but I have a skater's will. The reward of your child's security and happiness becomes so important, that you make it happen.. and the unconditional love and acceptance that you receive is beyond words. It only gets better. There's nothing more important. Things didn't exactly work out with my daughter's mother, but I am close with her family, so I'm very lucky. Congratulations on your son Gino 🥰 keep rollin' around. 🤘
  • Gino is a huge inspiration on so many levels. GZA Publicity played in piano was a sweet touch too 👌

Waylon deserves some type of award for these segments
  • @chasone
Glad to hear he's sorta happy. Really, it was all about those last 3 minutes.
  • Kids middle name is Lucero! Gino’s one of the best to ever step on a board.

As a fellow new dad and old skater, seeing Gino with a son made me so happy for him. Fatherhood is amazing.
